Two new variants arrive for the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 that focus entirely on chromatic details. The two versions are those of the new Blackout series, which in fact show off elegant black engines and exhausts, die-cast alloy wheels, tubeless tires and numerous functional and ergonomic improvements.
Powered by the Royal Enfield parallel twin engine, the two models that have been in the Indian house’s price list since 2018 are now available with the new Interceptor 650, Black Ray and Barcelona Blue colors, which are added to the Mark 2, Sunset Strip and Canyon versions Red.
The Continental GT 650 also returns in a brand new dark look, with a choice between Slipstream Blue and Apex Gray, without renouncing the Mr Clean, Dux Deluxe, British Racing Green and Rocker Red colors.
The new colors are accompanied by new functional and ergonomic features, including a more comfortable saddle, new handlebar controls, new USB charging port, LED headlight and adjustable brake and clutch levers, to personalize the riding position.
Even the color of the engine and exhausts supports the dark nature of the Royal Enfield twins, enhancing their aesthetics. “The Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 – said B. Govindarajan, CEO of Royal Enfield – are the darlings of riders from all over the world. We are sure that the new dark variants with alloy elements will give customers one more reason to choose these models, while functional upgrades will make traveling even more pleasant and enjoyable”.
The new versions of the Royal Enfield 650 twin-cylinder engines are available from official Royal Enfield dealerships across Europe from 23 February 2023. The Interceptor 650 range starts at €6,600, while the Continental GT range starts at €6,800.
