Silvio Angori president of the Car Design Engineering Anfia group

Silvio Angori, chief executive officer and general manager of Pininfarina, was re-elected as president of the Car Design & Engineering group of Anfia for the four-year period 2023-2026. Angori will be supported by the two vice presidents Giorgio Gamberini (business development director Italdesign – Giugiaro) and Francesco Ricciardi (president and CEO of Bylogix).
In the same assembly of the Car Design & Engineering group, Antonio Casu, CEO of Italdesign – Giugiaro, was instead nominated as the group’s representative within the Anfia general council. For Silvio Angori the title of vice president of the Association is also renewed.
Gianluca Forneris (CEO of Cecomp) and Lucio Luciotti (CEO of CSI) have joined the group’s management committee, alongside the president and vice presidents. For Silvio Angori the title of Vice President of the Association is also renewed.
“I am delighted with this confirmation at the helm of the Group – commented Silvio Angori – in a phase in which we are launching many new projects to keep pace with the rapid evolution of the automotive supply chain from the point of view of technological innovation and process digitization of design and production”.
“Among the intentions of my second mandate – said Angori – the expansion of the membership base remains central, essential for acquiring greater weight in terms of representation and for maximizing synergies, also with an opening towards the world of start-ups which will lead us to organize a series of itinerant workshops in the main automotive districts of our country”.
“This is to give greater visibility to the group and its initiatives and to dialogue with companies in order to understand their needs and share common objectives. It is also important to continue collaborating with the supply chains of other industrial sectors, both to evaluate new opportunities for technology transfer , and to work together to create a single ‘district of creativity and innovation’ that enhances the excellence of Made in Italy”.
