Dacia’s innovative philosophy in the manifest concept

During the meeting with the Italian press, Dacia showed the concept manifesto, a laboratory of ideas, connected with nature, and with various innovations, some of which will be the prerogative of future models.

For example, in the next Dacias we will see the YouClip system, which allows you to easily attach a series of useful and modular accessories. Distinguished by its basic essentiality, it does not place any filter between the passengers and the environment, given that there are no doors, windows and windscreens.
Furthermore, the headlight is single, because one is enough to illuminate well, while the battery of the electric powertrain is removable and, if desired, can be used for outdoor activities.
Even the lighthouse can be detached and used as a torch. The upholstery of the seats then transforms into a sleeping bag and can be washed with a jet of water. The essentiality of the manifesto represents Dacia’s construction philosophy, which tends to eliminate the superfluous to save weight. The bodywork, then, uses largely recycled plastic, derived from the transformation of used polymers, and with a mottled final result known as Starkle. As communicated by Dacia, currently, 12% of the plastic materials used on the Duster come from recycling, much more than the 8% on average, and in the next generation of the model, 20% of recycled plastic will be reached, which will also be used for the exterior of the vehicle.
The importance of these recycled materials is underlined by one fact above all, as the brand reveals, a ton of recycled plastic saves 830 kg of oil.
