To celebrate 75 years of Land Rover Defender, the new Lego Icons Land Rover Classic Defender 90 was created. It is a 32 cm long and fully equipped brick model. In fact, it features a roof rack, snorkel, front bumper with working winch, handrails and toolbox, as well as traction plates for traversing mud and sand.
There’s no shortage of working steering and suspension, opening doors and bonnet, and an interior with details based on the full-size Defender Classic. Using the 2,336-piece set, it is possible to build both the road model and a scale car ready for off-roading. Available from April 1st in Lego stores, and online at www.lego.com/Defender, in Italy it will cost 239.99 euros.
“Defender is synonymous with adventure and this new Lego set perfectly captures the spirit of an incomparable and unstoppable automotive icon – said Paul Barritt, Director of Land Rover Classic – while sharing, at the same time, the playful side of the vehicle”.
