Park the Ferrari in Piazza Signoria, fines of 470 euros

He took via dei Gondi against the traffic and then parked the Ferrari in piazza Signoria in Florence. The driver, a 43-year-old American tourist, was caught in the act and fined by the municipal police. For the motorist, reports were taken for parking in the pedestrian area, driving against the hand and non-compliant foreign license, for a total of 470 euros paid directly to the agents.

It all happened around 1.15pm today. The tourist, aboard a Ferrari Spider with a Swiss license plate, arrived in Piazza Signoria from Via dei Gondi passing against traffic and left the car parked in the area inside the bollards adjacent to the dehors. The officers immediately intervened. Checks revealed that the driver had an American driving license that did not comply with international conventions and was found to have no international driving permit or official translation. Hence also the fine, as well as for parking in the pedestrian area and driving in the prohibited direction, also for non-compliant foreign driving licences.
