Suzuki Swace more powerful and technological

Updated about two years after its arrival on the Italian market, the Swace Hybrid evolves to be more dynamic and safe while maintaining its basic characteristics. In fact, it combines comfort and versatility with a load compartment suitable for both work and leisure needs, thanks to a capacity ranging from 596 to 1,606 liters with the seats folded down.

The aesthetics have been enhanced by new chrome moldings in the rear bumper and, in the TOP trim level, by the presence of full LED front lights with integrated direction indicators and automatic high beams. In the passenger compartment, the new infotainment stands out with an 8-inch touch display and improved connectivity, thanks to the updated software. While a plus of the Top set-up is represented by the wireless connection with Apple CarPlay, by the adoption of new USB type C sockets. The instrument panel has also changed, becoming totally digital and featuring a 7-inch screen. With the review of the car came a more performing hybrid system, thanks to the increase in power of the electric motor from 53 to 70 kW, while the 98 bhp 1.8 petrol engine remained substantially unchanged.
There is a 15% increase in system horsepower, which translates to 140hp; all this against an improved level of CO2 emissions: 102-104 g/km. On a dynamic level, the shot from 0 to 100 km/h takes place in 9.4 seconds and the car promises a quicker response to the accelerator command.
At the same time, with the internal combustion engine running at lower revs, ride comfort increases. The driving aids benefit from a wide-angle front camera capable of covering a wider and deeper field of vision which offers a doubled frontal detection distance.
Furthermore, the “Attentofrena” system can also prevent the risk of side collisions; the “Restasveglio” device is capable of slowing down the car until it stops moving; the “Guardaspalle” system aims to prevent the opening of the doors, in the event of the arrival of other vehicles or cyclists, through acoustic signals; the one called “Guidadritto” recognizes emergency steering and is temporarily deactivated; while the “Curvaperfetta” system limits the phenomenon of understeer.
With two trim levels, the Suzuki Swace Hybrid has a price of 32,500 euros in the Cool variant, and 35,000 euros in the Top version (prices including VAT, Ipt, ELT and metallics excluded).
