For the inauguration of Art Paris 2023 Alpine has unveiled Metamorphosis, a work by artist Arne Quinze, which will be exhibited until Sunday 2 April on the forecourt of the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris.
With this collaboration, the artist wanted to symbolize the union between nature and technology through sculpture that symbolically represents the dreamed future of the automobile in the air, without wheels and as fast as light. By integrating moving lightning into the work, the artist interprets the feeling of exhilaration and speed experienced in racing, until the driver becomes one with the vehicle and the technology.
This new artistic collaboration with Arne Quinze represents Alpine’s willingness to contribute to the current art scene. For the third consecutive year, Alpine is exhibiting an original work at Art Paris, the world’s leading event for modern and contemporary art.
“For this third collaboration at Art Paris – commented Laurent Rossi, CEO of Alpine – Arne Quinze has been able to establish a dialogue between technique and creation in a sensational art car that takes us into a future we dream about so much. His work reflects the our ambitious goal: to create a car that is one with movement. This is the meaning of our partnership with Art Paris: to inspire us by supporting and contributing to the development of contemporary art talents”.
In 2022, the Alpine A110 Sastruga, created with the Obvious collective, acted as a bridge between the brand’s tradition and modernity In 2021, however, the collaboration with Felipe Pantone focused on the dialogue between color and Alpine thanks to the work of painting done entirely by hand by the artist.
