In Monza the largest Alfa Romeo meeting in our country

A great and exciting party was organized on Sunday on the legendary Monza circuit by the Scuderia del Portello – in collaboration with the Alfa Romeo register (Riar) on the occasion of the Aci Storico Festival – to celebrate 100 years of the Quadrifoglio and 60 years of the Autodelta, two milestones in the history of the Casa del Biscione. The event’s partner is the global Alfa Romeo brand, an expression of noble Italian sportsmanship since 1910, which seizes every opportunity to consolidate the visceral bond with its ‘tribe’ of enthusiasts and clubs dedicated to individual models.
More than 560 cars, including some vintage rarities, belonging to private customers from all over Europe took part in the largest annual Alfa Romeo meeting in our country. Now in its fourth edition, this year’s event celebrated 100 years since the Quadrifoglio – symbol of Alfa Romeo’s sporting identity – made its debut on the occasion of the 1923 Targa Florio.
But also the 60th anniversary of Autodelta, the official Alfa Romeo racing department, founded in 1963 and active until the 1980s, which wrote memorable pages in motorsport with unforgettable cars, legendary victories and glorious drivers.
“I am proud of how our tribe participated, with passion and enthusiasm, in this extraordinary event in the temple of speed – commented Raffaele Russo, country manager of Alfa Romeo in Italy – After all, the world of competitions and, in general, of most exhilarating performances, is an integral part of our ultra-secular history”.
“And today our goal is to reinvent sportiness in the twenty-first century as demonstrated by the new Tonale Plug-In Hybrid Q4, with which Alfa Romeo intends to define the Efficient Sportiness paradigm. We were protagonists yesterday and we will also be protagonists in the future of zero mobility emissions, with that grit and ambition that has always distinguished us on the international scene”.
Participants in the event received two stickers of the new celebratory logos as a gift, created by the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo and which reinterpret the historic Quadrifoglio and Autodelta logos in a modern key.
