Enel X Way and Aci together for electric mobility

Collaboration between Enel X Way, an Enel company dedicated to electric mobility, and Aci to “enhance e-mobility as an accelerator of the energy transition”. A protocol has been signed, informs a note from Enel, to start a “collaboration which, through the capillarity of recharging points and the innovation of services for electric drivers, aims to give further impetus to the transition to mobility electricity in Italy”.

“We are pleased with the start of this collaboration with Aci because it outlines the guidelines for the present and future of electric mobility in the country – said Elisabetta Ripa, CEO of Enel X Way – through the development of projects and synergies that focus on two fundamental elements: the elaboration of solutions tailored to the user and his needs and the ability to create a system with the most important associations and companies in the automotive sector”. For the president of Aci, Angelo Sticchi Damiani “the signed protocol is the best follow-up to the activities for electric mobility already carried out by the experimental laboratory at the Aci Sara Safe Driving Center in Vallelunga.” “The partnership – explains Enel’s note – will make it possible to share mobility development plans, identifying suitable areas for the installation of Enel X Way charging infrastructure, in the public and private sectors, in addition to the more than 18,000 points installed by the company throughout the territory; of technologically advanced solutions such as WayMedia – an integrated structure capable of combining the charging service and multimedia advertising services linked to the territorial context -, up to the installation of HPC (“High-Power Charging “), latest-generation ultrafast infrastructure, capable of recharging the car with energy in about 20 minutes. Services and solutions that Enel X Way makes available to ACI and the members of the Federation, also with a view to using for the electrification of headquarters”.
