This was stated by the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, in the second appointment of the online column “The Minister replies” in which the emphasis is placed on the importance of road safety education in schools, starting with targeted courses for secondary school students whose attendance will include the acquisition of credits for the purpose of obtaining a driving licence, and on the measures that the Ministries of Education and Merit, of Transport and of the Interior are implementing, working together to counter the increase in the number of road accidents, many of which involve children.
