The culture of muscle cars in two-wheeled version, for Harley-Davidson, which celebrates the history of the stars and stripes cars with the introduction of Fast Johnnie, the 2023 series of the Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection, with limited production featuring customized paintwork and graphics , made directly in the factory.
This special color scheme is available as standard on Harley-Davidson Low Rider St, Street Glide St and Road Glide St models, with overall production limited to no more than 2,000 models worldwide. The Fast Johnnie paint scheme draws on iconic performance muscle car design themes from the 1960s and 1970s, including contrasting ‘racing’ stripes on a bold base color. The Fast Johnnie character, applied to the left side of the tank, also appears on the Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle team bikes competing in the Moto America King of the Baggers series.
“The graphic effect of the stripes is a strong signal for the generation that grew up in that era – commented Brad Richards, vice president of design and creative director of Harley-Davidson – and it is still of great impact today. The color chosen for The Fast Johnnie series recalls a very popular hue for muscle cars of the time.” Depending on the motorcycle model, the stripes are applied to the front and rear fenders, the top and sides of the tank, the front of the fairing, the side covers and the bags. The Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection logo is located on the rear fender.
