After the uproar caused by the battery-powered version, Ram further expands the offer of the 1500 pick-up with a new top-of-the-range proposal, the Limited, which challenges top-of-the-range SUVs for comfort and luxury. Equipped with a 400 HP 5.7-litre V8 petrol engine, it combines the well-known brand sturdiness with reference technological solutions, such as the active control suspension with self-levelling system.
Equipped with a digital instrument cluster, Ram connectivity platform, Internet hotspot, the new Ram 1500 Limited is manufactured in the US plant in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Equipped with a 4×4 transmission with reduction gear and an 8-speed automatic gearbox, it offers a new differential as a novelty which, in combination with the automatic system for deactivating four of the eight cylinders, makes it possible to reduce fuel consumption in urban use.
Also worth mentioning is the multimedia system with 12″ screen, the Harman Kardon hi-fi system with 19 speakers and 900 watts of power, the digital noise reduction system, the air-conditioned leather seats, 12-way adjustable at the front , the active control spoiler and the huge 22-inch wheels shod with Pirelli All Season 285/45 R22XL.
A curiosity comes from Brazil: on the first day of marketing in the South American country, the Ram 1500 Limited was ordered by 540 customers.
