160 million Anas tender for road safety

Anas (FS Italiane group) “increases the safety of its roads with the publication in today’s Official Gazette of a call for tenders, for a total value of 160 million euros, for scheduled maintenance work which will concern the consolidation of the slopes and the protection of the road body. For the latter, in particular, it concerns interventions to stabilize embankments and slopes, to install contact networks and rockfall barriers, to carry out support works, hydrogeological and hydraulic arrangements and green works”. It can be read in a note.

“Anas roads, over 32,000 km of network, reach around 3,500 municipalities out of the almost 8,000 present throughout the country. Our goal – said Aldo Isi, CEO of Anas – is to intervene quickly and effectively, guaranteeing increasingly more safe and efficient.

For this reason, taking care of the network is at the heart of our mission. To date we have over 1,160 active construction sites for scheduled maintenance, for an investment amount of around 4 billion”.

The contract, divided into 16 lots, based on the Territorial Structures of Anas, will be divided as follows: 10 million euros for Sicily (lot 1); 7.5 million euros for Sardinia (lot 2); 10 million euros Calabria (lot 3); 7.5 million euros for Basilicata (lot 4); 7.5 million euros for Puglia (lot 5); 10 million euros for Campania (lot 6); 10 million euros for Lazio (lot 7); 10 million euros for Abruzzo and Molise (lot 8); 12.5 million euros for the Marches (lot 9); 10 million euros for Umbria (lot 10); 10 million euros for Tuscany (lot 11); 15 million euro for Emilia-Romagna (lot 12); 10 million euros for Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia (lot 13); 10 million euros for Lombardy (lot 14); 10 million euros for Liguria (lot 15); 10 million euros for Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta (lot 16).
