On the occasion of Art Basel Miami, Automobili Lamborghini presents the exhibition “Lamborghini Countach: the future is our heritage” at the Wolfsonian-FIU Museum, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy. The exhibition was transformed into an unprecedented journey through the sustainability plan of the Casa del Toro and the evolution of the brand’s design.
The protagonist car is a 1986 Countach LP 5000 QV, the focal point of the exhibition, which opens with a historical overview of the Countach models, to which are added vintage sketches, an area dedicated to the path towards sustainability and, for complete the experience, images of the new Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4.

Heir to Sián, the brand new Countach LPI 800-4 represents the company’s second step towards hybridization, one of the objectives of the Cor Tauri Management program, which aims to reduce CO₂ emissions by 50% by 2025 thanks to a range of plug-in hybrid models, followed by the first all-electric Lamborghini in the second half of the decade.
The Countach LPI 800-4, unveiled in 2021, boasts the latest Lamborghini innovations that pave the way for hybrid technologies alongside its V12 heart.
“By transporting the past into the present, this exhibition demonstrates how Lamborghini has always pushed the limits of what is possible and how it continues to do so today with an ambitious electrification plan,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “Revolutionary design and modern aesthetics are an integral part of Lamborghini’s DNA: Art Basel Miami is the perfect setting to retrace this journey together. It is truly a privilege to be able to exhibit in a museum of the caliber of the Wolfsonian-FIU”.
“Lamborghini – observes Cristiano Musillo, Consul General of Italy in Miami – has a long experience in the production of timeless cars in the heart of the Italian Motor Valley. Its automotive legends embody both tradition and innovation, with a distinctive design. Alongside its core business, the company is committed to an all-round environmental policy that includes the reduction of CO2 emissions and an intense recycling of waste materials “.
It will be possible to visit the exhibition and see the 1986 Lamborghini Countach LP 5000 QV until December 5th.
