Abarth 600E, Scorpio also stings in electric

After the Abarth 500E, the Scorpio house doubles the electric proposal with the 600E, which grows in size and power compared to the younger sister.
In fact, it is a B-SUV that does everything to make its intentions clear. This is demonstrated by the reinterpretation of the bumpers, with the lower part modified to develop greater dementation, as the rear extractor points out, which works in synergy with the spoiler on the trunk. This has a design that recalls the always open higly of the period Abarth 600, while the revised Scorpion in an electric key is present in the 20 -inch wheels and on the front wheel arches, as well as on the badge in the hood. The large Abarth writing in the side and above the front mouth, in addition to the acid green color they represent further, unequivocal, clues to the potential of the car.

The Racing style continues in the passenger compartment, where those who sit in front is changing from the embrace of the Sabelt sports seats, and where the steering wheel with crown covered in Alcantara stand out, complete with zero point, in addition to the acid green seams. With the 10.25 -inch touchscreen display it is easy to manage the infotainment, given that the various items are selectable with great immediacy, and you can also activate the sound generator, to have a thermal soundtrack while driving.
There is no shortage of graphics dedicated to those who use the car on the track, with the most important parameters in evidence. The 7 -inch display for digital instrumentation, on the other hand, allows you to keep an eye on the most important information while traveling and also allows you to view the available driving methods.
Practice the iPad -style coverage for the storage compartment on the central tunnel.
The dynamic is influenced by the changes made to the car, which can count, on a lower set -up of 3 cm to the front ax and 2.5 cm in the rear area, on the more rigid sprinkles and bars, on the reinforcement twisting bar and on the retro -rean and on shock absorbers with a hydraulic racing background. There is also a braking system with more bite, thanks to the presence of 380 mm ventilated front discs and with a thickness of 32 mm, but the element that makes the difference more than any other is the Torsen -type mechanical self -locking differential, which allows you to make the most of the Michelin Pilot Sport Sport tires from the size 225/40.
Already in tourism mode the thrust is good, in that Scorpion Street the car becomes more reactive, while it offers the best of itself by selecting the scorpion track item, which allows you to release the whole push of the 280 HP, to shoot from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.85 seconds and reach, where allowed, the 200 km/h of maximum speed. The Abarth 600E has a granite structure, it is sharp, and allows you to brush the trajectories with precision, but does not hesitate to make the background participate in the action, which closes the trajectory by releasing the accelerator.
When driving with transport, however, a significant drop in autonomy must be taken into account, given that the battery has a capacity of 54 kWh. Traveling without setting fire to the dust, however, the 300 km of travel are quietly exceeded.
However, in case of need, making a stop for charging is a rather rapid practice, given that from a continuous current column it is possible to go from 20 to 80% of energy in 27 minutes. On the other hand, such a compact battery pack allows you to contain the weight at about 1,600 kg which, for an electric, represents a good value.
The Abarth 600E Scorpionissimo of our test, produced in only 1949 specimens, has a price of 48,950 euros, in line with its exclusivity. The 240 HP tourism version is proposed with a price list that starts from 42,950 euros.
