Road traffic is impossible in all sides – such diversification of flows allows you to make roads in cities safer and more convenient. But do you know all the requirements of traffic rules?
Check yourself using the test that has published the YouTube channel “According to the rules!”. To the question to which you need to answer: where it is allowed to continue the movement of the driver of the red car.
In the picture with the conditions of the problem, we see a red car that is at the intersection. As well as four yellow shooters that indicate potentially possible directions of further movement. Which of them allows you to continue the movement of current traffic rules:
- only straight;
- directly and in the opposite direction;
- right and left;
- left and opposite;
- Only in the opposite direction.
The first thing you can pay attention to in this situation is road signs installed at the depicted intersection. Sign 2.1 “Give the road” does not play an important role in this situation. But the sign 4.6 “Movement to the right or left” will help give the correct answer. This allows you to continue moving to the right or left at the intersection, but also does not prohibit the turn. That is, in this situation, the sign does not allow moving only directly.
Does this mean that all other proposed directions are allowed? When it comes to turn or turn left, then yes. But with a turn to the right there is a nuance. As you can see, on the road there are two lanes for movement in each direction, and the driver of the red car went to the intersection, being in the far left lane. And this means that paragraph 10.4 of the current rules of movement, he is forbidden to turn left.
Therefore, the driver from the depicted position cannot continue moving directly and on the right. But this can turn left and turn. The fourth answer is correct.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA published the problem of traffic regulation, which was supposed to determine which trajectory of movement was allowed to the driver.
