The Adac Opel Electric Rally Cup ‘Powered by GSE’, currently the only single -brand rally championship with electric cars in the world, has come to the fifth season and is already evolving for the future. The Lightning House with the new Mokka Gse Rally showed how the battery racing car could be in the near future. The graphic design that mixes gray, black and yellow access, includes the letters OMG! which indicate the sensations behind the wheel of a new model of the GSE range; The abbreviation GSE precisely, which stands for Grand Sport Electric; And the writing Mokka Gse Rally on the front hood.
The picture is completed by the large air intake on the roof and the different color rims: black in front, with yellow brake calipers, and yellow behind.
In the passenger compartment there are accessories to increase safety such as roll-bar (certified by the FIA) and rally seats with six-point seat belts. In addition, the car is equipped with a special battery unconscious and an additional anti-small protection. Mokka GSE Rally also has a sophisticated sensor system, which in case of impact, completely turns off the high voltage system in a few tenths of a second, and a special fire prevention system with an electrically non -conductive extinguishing agent.
First rally car in the world currently under development according to the new Fia Eraly5 regulations, this prototype could therefore be used all over the world in different sports competitions for customers starting from the Rally 2026 season.
Thanks to a peak power of 280 HP, to a pair of 345 nn, to elements such as the limited slip differential and to the Bilstein rally suspensions, the performance is equal to those of a Rally4 car. Obviously, electronic driving aid, including ABS and ESP, are absent. The 54 kWh battery, speculate to the standard one, benefits, like PowerTrain, of a management software designed to ensure maximum efficiency and guidability in competition conditions.
