Audi opens a new chapter in electric mobility with the A6 Sportback E-Tron, the first coupe sedan on the PPE platform, shared with Porsche. It is a key model for the transition of the brand towards the electric, which combines efficiency with high performance, without sacrificing the typical elegance of the segment and premium.
With a length of 4.96 meters, a width of 1.96 and a step of almost 3 meters (2.95 m), the A6 Sportback e-tron presents itself with proportions from Granturismo and a tapered silhouette, which allows it to reach a coefficient of aerodynamic resistance (CX) of just 0.22.
The PPE platform allows 800 volt architecture, ultra-papid recharge, rear or whole wheel drive, pneumatic suspensions and 100 kWh 100 kWh battery. Two launch versions: A6 Sportback e-tron and S6 Sportback e-tron quattro.
The “basic” version is driven by a 250 kW rear synchronous engine (340 HP) and 540 Nm. WLTP autonomy is between 625 and 750 km. The most performance S6 E-Tron Quattro adopts two electric engines (one per axis) 380 kW (517 HP) and 820 Nm, which rise to 405 kW (551 HP) and 930 Nm in boost mode. Accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4 seconds, with active all -wheel drive
And Torque Vectoring.
Ansa Motori had a first contact the A6 E-Tron on the streets between Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Slovenia. At the wheel, it shows a good dynamic balance. The rear -wheel drive version is fluid, silent and comfortable.
The disbursement is progressive, but with the typical readiness of electric power tractrals.
The S6 E-Tron Quattro, however, adds an important dose of sportiness: the shot is immediate and the push is powerful already at the lowest regimes. All -wheel drive works imperceptiblely but also effective on wet asphalt, while pneumatic suspensions (adjustable up to 60 mm) and the full steering give agility, taking into account the size.
In “Dynamic” mode, the car stiffens and gives precise insertions and contained roll, without compromising the comfort on the road.
Regenerative braking can be modulated on several levels and reaches 220 kW. In the city it allows you to drive almost always in one-pedal mode, while on the mixed traits it integrates well with the traditional braking system (Brake-by-Wire). The steering is directed but never nervous, and in maneuver the steering retrotrene reduces the steering diameter to values comparable to those of an3.
The experience on board is dominated by the Audi Digital Stage: 11.9 “Virtual Cockpit, 14.5” Curvo Curvo Curvy Display, 10.9 “passenger screen and Head-up Display with augmented reality. The infotainment runs on Android Automotive and integrates apps such as Spotify, Google Maps, YouTube and the new chatgpt voice assistant, capable of answering complex questions and interact naturally with over 800 voice commands.
The Digital Matrix LED headlights and the new OLED 2.0 optical groups offer dynamic and customizable light scenography. Eight front and rear light signatures can be configured via MMI. In addition, the rear lights can show car-to-x messages, such as dangerous or emergency braking reports.
The top -up takes place up to 270 kW in DC: in 10 minutes 310 km of autonomy can be recovered, and recharging from 10 to 80% require about 21 minutes. In AC the charger is 11 kW (22 kW optional).
The interiors combine recycled materials and high quality finishes, with dynamic microfibre seats or synthetic skin, electrical adjustments, massage and ventilation function. The 526 -liter trunk (plus 64 liters in the Frunk) guarantees practicality, even on long journeys. At the level of driving assistance, the Adas package includes over 30 systems, including Adaptive Cruise Assist with automatic lane change, remote parking via smartphone and level-autonomous level 2+ semi-autonomous driving.
The Audi A6 Sportback E-Tron list starts from 65,500 euros, up to 99,500 euros of the S6 Four version.
