Who will cross the third? Traffic test test

The correct understanding of the rules of movement is the key to road safety. One of the key points is the ability to analyze road situations at intersections, especially when it comes to unregulated areas with several participants.

One of these tasks not only allows you to test the knowledge of the rules of movement, but also develop the logic of solutions in real conditions. We offer to go through a difficult test, determining the order of traveling in the image.

Who will pass this intersection with the third?

  1. Truck driver;
  2. The driver of the white car;
  3. The driver of the green car;
  4. cyclist;
  5. A cyclist with a green car driver will pass the third at the same time.

Explanation

We have a crossroads that came of four cars. White and trucks are turned left, and the green car and the cyclist are moving straight.

This is an unregulated intersection, because there are no traffic lights. However, priority signs, including signs 2.3 (main road) and 7.8 (direction of the main road), are installed here.

There are green and white cars on the main road, and therefore their drivers have an advantage over a cyclist and a truck driver.

Since green and white cars are located in equivalent areas of the main road, the “obstacle to the right” is used. That is, the driver of the White car has an advantage, because for green it is an obstacle to the right.

Then we look at the truck and cyclist – both are on minor roads, so they are also on equal terms. And here again the “obstacles to the right” rule – the truck has an advantage over the cyclist.

Thus, the order of travel is as follows:

  1. White car;
  2. Green machine;
  3. Truck;
  4. Cyclist.

The correct answer is 1. The truck driver will pass the third.

OBOZ.UA also published interesting and useful tests for testing knowledge about traffic:

  • Try to determine who has an advantage in the intersection;
  • solve the problem of which driver who should give way;
  • Or think about which car will be another difficult intersection.
