“Welcome to the new world!”. Medvedev scared Europe with gas for 2 thousand euros

Dmitry Medvedev began to openly threaten the European Union after the suspension of certification of the Kremlin’s Nord Stream 2 project

Deputy head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev began to threaten the European Union that natural gas prices would jump to 2000 euros per thousand cubic meters.

So the Russian propagandist reacted to stop the certification of Nord Stream 2 by Germany in social networks.

“Well, welcome to the new world, where Europeans will soon pay 2,000 euros for a thousand cubic meters of gas!” – the post says.

Certification of Nord Stream 2 stopped

On February 22, due to the recognition by the Russian Federation of the independence of the pseudo-republics of the “LDNR”, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz asked the country’s Ministry of Economy to withdraw a report on ensuring energy security from the Federal Grid Agency.

This means that the certification of Nord Stream 2 has been stopped and to start it, the German Ministry of Economics will re-evaluate the project and until then it will not be launched.

Segodnya was also told that the European Union is preparing a package of sanctions against Russia and deputies who voted in support of the independence of the LDNR.
