From today Eni gas e luce becomes Plenitude with a unique business model that integrates production from renewables, the sale of gas and electricity, energy services and the network of recharging points for electric vehicles. This was announced by the group in a note, recalling that Plenitude, a Benefit company, plans to go public during this year, compatibly with market conditions, through an initial public offering (IPO). The company supplies energy to around 10 million European customers in the retail market, has a portfolio of around 1.1 GW of renewable capacity in operation and aims to reach over 6 GW installed by 2025 and over 15 GW by 2030. In the electric mobility sector, through its subsidiary Be Charge, has a network of over 6,500 charging points that will be expanded both in Italy and in Europe with over 27,000 charging points expected by 2025 and over 31,000 by 2030. Plenitude is also a leader in Italy in distributed generation from small photovoltaic systems thanks to Evolvere, a company acquired in 2020.
