Stock Exchange: Milan returns negative (-0.2%), with Tim and Generali weighing

Same price, less product, inflation is hidden (ANSA)

(ANSA) – MILAN, 04 APR – Piazza Affari returns to negative territory at the end of a morning characterized by a further change of course after an upward start. The Ftse Mib index leaves 0.3% on the field while the differential between German 10-year BTPs and Bunds falls again to 155.4 points, with the annual yield of Italian bonds down 4.2 points to 2.047%. Tim slips since the first negotiations (-4.16%) awaiting a response from the Kkr fund to the requests of the group, with a possible revision of the offer following the “changed scenarios” compared to last November, when the Fund put on flat 0.5 euro per share for a possible takeover bid.

Generali was also down (-2.79%), whose former partners according to Consob, consulted by the group last February, did not violate any obligation to communicate on exceeding the relevant thresholds. Snam was also heavy (-2.16%), after the farewell of the CEO Marco Alverà sanctioned by the CDP list, which indicated Stefano Venier to replace him at the shareholders’ meeting on April 27, at the natural expiry of the Manager’s second term. Minus sign also for Saipem (-2.26%), Atlantia (-1.85%), Terna (-1.68%), Intesa (-1.24%), Unicredit (-0.82%), Poste (-1.4%) and Italgas (-1.11%).

Eni’s decline widens (-0.51%) and Tenaris turns negative (-0.22%) with crude oil rising but below 100 dollars a barrel (Wti + 0.7% to 99.96 dollars). Few increases, limited to Ferrari Ferrari (+ 3.73%), Moncler (+ 3.12%), Leonardo (+ 2.55%), Amplifon (+ 2.1%), Inwit (+ 1.96% ), Recordati (+ 1.89%) and A2a (+ 1.71%). Positive, in contrast with the trend of the sector in Europe, Banco Bpm (+ 1.84%), while Bper did little (-0.3%). (HANDLE).
