In Ukraine, electricity consumers were obliged to warn their suppliers about the impossibility of paying for services during martial law. If a person does not do this and debts accumulate, he will eventually disconnected from the mains.

The corresponding resolution was adopted by the National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the field of energy and utilities.

NEURC ordered suppliers to carry out explanatory work among consumers that it is possible to pay electricity bills online, and also emphasize the importance of transmitting meter readings.

If it is not possible to pay the bills of citizens, they are asked to personally warn about it, otherwise they will turn off the light.

If you warn your supplier, you will not be cut off from the electricity while martial law is in effect in the country 30 days after cancellation.

  • up to 250 kWh (including all consumption) – 1.44 hryvnia per 1 kWh;
  • more than 250 kWh (for the entire volume of consumption) – 1.68 hryvnia per 1 kWh.
