(ANSA) – MILAN, MAY 16 – Piazza Affari begins the week marked by uncertainty, with the Ftse Mib index closing down 0.06% after a day of fluctuations close to parity. The energy and utilities stocks, among the best in Europe, supported the Milanese list, with the EU showing European companies how to pay for Russian gas without violating the sanctions and the agreement on the oil embargo of Moscow struggling to arrive. Saipem, which will meet the assembly tomorrow, flew by 8.1%, ahead of Tenaris (+ 4.2%), Hera (+ 4%), Snam (+ 2.9%), A2A (+2, 2%), Terna (+ 2%) and Italgas (+ 1.9%). On the other hand, Nexi (-4.7%), still sold after the accounts, Ferrari (-3.5%), Moncler (-2.2%) and Tim (-2%) suffered. Stm is also weak (-1.9%), together with the entire IT sector, cars with Stellantis (-0.6%), Iveco (-0.7%) and Pirelli (-0.9%) and the banks with Bper and Intesa (-0.9% both). Strong purchases instead on Interpump (+ 5.1%) in the wake of the accounts, promoted by analysts. Out of the main list, RCS slips (-6.4%) while Saras rises (+ 9.2%) with the quarterly report.
