Stock Exchange: Milan (+ 0.3%) with industry and luxury, Generali down

(ANSA) – MILAN, MAY 27 – Positive weekend session for Piazza Affari (+ 0.3%), but one of the least enthusiastic among the main European stock exchanges. Many banks in the red in Milan, from Banco Bpm (-0.8%) to Bper and Mps (-0.4%) and Intesa (-0.2%), while Fineco gained (+ 0.2%) and Unicredit (+ 0.4%). The BTP-Bund spread closed up at 193.6 points, with the Italian ten-year yield rising to 2.896%. Mediobanca also down (-0.7%). On the other hand, paytech Nexi was strong (+ 2.1%).

Utilities, as in the rest of Europe, are bad, starting with Terna (-2.6%) and Italgas (-1.6%). Negative for Generali (-1.9%), with the resignation from the Board of Directors of Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone. Down the oil companies, such as Saipem (-0.5%) and Eni (-0.3%), not the Tenaris plant (+ 1.2%), with crude oil which thinned the rise in the evening (wti +0 , 1%) at 114.2 dollars a barrel and brent at 117.9 dollars.

Brilliant among pharmaceuticals Diasorin (+ 3.4%), at the top of the main list with Cnh (+ 3.1%) and Stm (+ 2.3%), which, like the semiconductor sector, supported the indices throughout Europe.

Prysmian did well, in luxury Cucinelli (+ 3.2%), Ferragamo (+ 2.7%) and Moncler (+ 2.1%). Cars were positive, from Ferrari (+ 1.8%) to Stellantis (+ 0.2%). Bene Poste (+ 1.8%), some gains for Tim (+ 0.3%). Among the smaller capitalization stocks, Luve (+ 5.6%) and Dovalue (+ 5.5%) rallies, Piovan crash (-5.3%). (HANDLE).
