Tokyo gained 0.56%, Seoul 0.44% and Taiwan 0.32%. Sidney negative (-0.45%), Hong Kong (+ 1.521%), Shanghai (+ 1.13%) and Mumbai (-0.59%) are still open. The dollar fell against the euro and the yen, which also lost share against the single currency.
