Cheap and cheerful: how Ukrainians can buy a car in Poland up to 2,000 euros

Since the abolition of duties on cars (payment of VAT, excise duty and import duty), Ukrainians have imported more than 111 thousand used cars into the state. The majority is now interested in purchasing inexpensive cars, especially the Ukrainian army.

Petrol price spikes in Poland

While there is a relative “calm” with prices at Ukrainian filling stations, the Polish market is experiencing large price surges. In early June, the cost of some types of gasoline broke records.

For example, as of June 6, the average cost of fuel in Poland was as follows:

• A-95 – PLN 7.76 (UAH 53.60);
• A-98 – PLN 8.27 (UAH 57.12);
• diesel fuel – PLN 8.37 (UAH 57.81);
• autogas – PLN 3.54 (UAH 24.37).

And on June 5, the price of A-95 gasoline was PLN 7.69 (UAH 52.94), and A-98 – PLN 8.19 (UAH 56.39).

As Segodnya wrote, such an increase in the cost of gasoline is due to the fact that Poland abandoned Russian oil.
