The fuel market is gradually recovering, the number of deliveries is growing daily, however does not lag behind and consumption.

Sergey Kuyun, the director of A-95 Consulting Company, spoke about this and about the existing problems in a column for HB.

According to the expert, imports of autogas have already exceeded expectations, the situation with diesel fuel is gradually reaching the predicted level, but with gasoline it is still falls short of 20-25%.

“I won’t say that the problems are over, it’s still very far away. Supply is growing, but consumption is not standing still. People are returning, business is becoming more active. And in August-September, we will have a seasonal peak in consumption,” Kuyun says.

According to the expert, the main logistics problems appear in Europe, as the local market operators overestimate the price due to the growing demand from Ukraine. In addition, swindlers have entered the market, there are difficulties with banking transactions.

“Therefore, one should not expect a special surplus yet. Our traders literally gnaw out every car. Now the main goal is to ensure the current growing demand and create a reserve for August-September. And in general, a warring country should have it,” Kuyun emphasized.
