Under martial law, the state budget has several sources of revenue. For the period from February 24 to June 22, there were four main sources.

This number was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak in his Telegram channel.

The largest amount of revenue was from taxes, customs, and dividends from state-owned enterprises. According to preliminary estimates for June, in the amount of UAH 60-70 billion, in general, this segment brought the Ukrainian treasury UAH 310 billion.

In second place is the National Bank, which purchased domestic government bonds (OVGZ) for UAH 190 billion and transferred another UAH 19 billion of profits to the budget. In total, this is UAH 209 billion.

Western support

The third place is occupied by all total international grants and loans. All donors and partners of Ukraine are taken into account:

  • IMF;
  • EU;
  • USA;
  • Canada;
  • World Bank.

In general, Western partners provided Ukrainians with financial support for UAH 200 billion. In June, another UAH 21 billion should be received, and by the end of July they plan to attract an additional UAH 257.4 billion to the treasury.

Ukrainians made the most contributions

Banks and ordinary citizens also made an important contribution to supporting the economy. In total, since the beginning of the war, banking institutions and individuals have purchased government bonds for UAH 107 billion.

According to Zheleznyak, it is the Ukrainians who support the country with internal resources (including taxes, duties, state enterprises and the National Bank of Ukraine) during the 120 days of the war.

“The situation, in theory, should change soon and the ‘loans and grants’ clause will be compared with taxes,” People’s Deputy warned.

At the same time, he urged not to fall for populist statements and propagandists’ tales that “foreigners pay for Ukrainians.” After all, dry numbers indicate that this is just another fake.

Grant for your business

The work of business in Ukraine is more important than ever to support the economy in wartime. That is why the government launched the “єRobota” program, under which citizens will be provided with non-refundable grants for their own business.

Micro-entrepreneurs are encouraged to participate in any field – from service stations or dry cleaning to cafes or beauty salons. The main thing is to have a clear business plan, desire and submit an application and your idea to the expert commission. Representatives of Sberbank and the State Employment Center will process the application and decide whether to give money for the development of the business.

They plan to provide 20,000 grants for a total of UAH 5 billion over the year. Up to UAH 250,000 can be allocated to one business, depending on the needs of the microentrepreneur. This money will go to a special account in the bank, they can be spent only for its intended purpose.

Within the framework of “eRobot” there are also two programs for farmers worth UAH 11 billion. It is planned to launch grants for workers in the processing industry and IT.

Today they also talked about what offers are on the business market and what turnkey business can be purchased from 2.4 thousand dollars, and they wrote how entrepreneurs can get 20 thousand hryvnias to support their business.
