On June 24, the Ministry of Justice registered a document providing for an increase in tariffs for the transportation of goods by rail.

According to the order of the Ministry of Infrastructure No. 441, they changed the coefficients and increased tariffs for the transportation of goods by Ukrzaliznytsia and related services.

Innovations apply to all 20 types of cargo, and the coefficients have increased by 70%. The planned indexation of tariffs will be carried out from July 1.

Ukrzaliznytsia has long been asking the government to change the coefficients. This will allow the national carrier to earn more than UAH 11 billion by the end of 2022.

Financial support for Ukrzaliznytsia will not be superfluous, since the company suffered huge losses due to the war, and according to preliminary estimates, it will take more than 100 billion hryvnias to repair the damage. In addition, as the railroad workers explained earlier, the transportation of goods has now fallen to 27.1 million tons, or 2.9 times.

Child support will increase

July 1 will also be the day when the cost of living and all related social benefits will increase. Among them are slightly larger child support, since the minimum amount of payments cannot be less than half of the subsistence minimum for a child of a certain age.

According to this formula, the minimum guaranteed amount of alimony for a child under the age of 6 will be UAH 1,100.5. For children from 6 to 18 years old, the amount reaches 1372 UAH.

The process of changing cash receipts occurs automatically, so there is no need to additionally apply to the executive service bodies.

At the same time, the maximum amount of alimony is equal to ten living wages per child of the corresponding age. Parents can pay a larger amount than the established amount if they write it in the contract.

Segodnya used to tell how Ukrainians in Poland can get an additional 300 zlotys per child, and also wrote to whom in Ukraine they want to limit the payment of wages.
