NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy plans to import 15.6 thousand gasoline and diesel fuel to Ukraine in July and eventually become the leader in the fuel market.

This was announced by the head of the company on his Facebook page.

According to him, Naftogaz is rapidly increasing supplies and will be able to take a leading position in a few months.

In May alone, the company delivered 2,000 tons of diesel to Ukraine, and in June already 5,600. The next month, Naftogaz contracted 4000 tons gasoline and 11,600 tons diesel fuel.

“For the third month now, we have been increasing the volume of their supplies, on average 2.5 times monthly… If such rates of increasing imports of oil products continue, then in a few months Naftogaz may become the market leader,” Vitrenko wrote.

He also noted that Naftogaz could contract ten times more volumes, but they are prevented from doing so by logistical restrictions on the delivery of oil products from major European ports to the Ukrainian border.

The head of the company stressed that they faced this absolutely all importers.

What will happen to the petrol crisis in July?

The situation with the shortage of fuel is gradually leveling off, the supply from European markets is gradually getting better and growing.

Andriy Gerus, head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Energy, Housing and Communal Services, said that the situation could fully stabilize as early as July and at gas stations even can remove restrictions on the purchase of fuel.

Gerus believes that it was the Russian aggressor who tried to create a deep fuel crisis in Ukraine, but the Kremlin’s plans have already been thwarted and will not be realized.
