(ANSA) – MILAN, 08 JUL – A day marked by nervousness on the raw materials front. The price of gas, after a sharp decline, starts to gallop again while oil continues to decline.
In Amsterdam, gas prices stood at 182 euros per megawatt hour, with a decrease of 0.1% compared to the day before and after a start of the day at 175 euros per MWh. In London it stands at 296p at the MMBTU. The decline in oil continues with WTI falling to 102 dollars per barrel (-0.7%) and Brent at 104 dollars (-0.4%).
Among metals, gold fell to 1,736 dollars an ounce (-0.21%) and silver to 19.12 dollars (-0.5%). Copper also fell by 2.1% to 3.49 dollars for the 25,000 pound futures contract. On the food raw materials front, the prices of soft wheat (+ 2.5% to 858 dollars every 5 thousand bushels) and durum wheat (+ 1.7% to 905 dollars) are running. (HANDLE).
