(ANSA) – MILAN, AUGUST 01 – The Milan Stock Exchange further lengthens its pace (Ftse Mib + 1.5% to 22,742 points) mid-session. The impetus to the list was given by purchases on Saipem (+ 5.8%), Eni (+ 3.3%) and on financials with Bper (+ 4.7%) and Mediobanca (+ 3.8%) after the week of quarterly reports from which in general good indications have come. The rest of the other European markets are more cautious with the futures on Wall Street falling.
Frankfurt marks + 0.35%, London + 0.38% and Paris +0.31%.
The spread between BTP and Bund confirms the decline and reaches 210 points with the Italian ten-year yield always below 3%, to 2.9%. Among the raw materials, gas is at 198 euros per megawatt hour (+ 3.7%). Oil retreated with the wti of 1.3% just above 97 dollars a barrel, the brent is at 103 dollars (-0.9%). On the exchange front, the euro appreciates against the dollar and trades at 1.024 against the greenback. (HANDLE).
