(ANSA) – MILAN, NOVEMBER 30 – A joint research platform between universities and companies to study the development of the energy vector that will be able to make a decisive contribution to achieving global climate objectives: hydrogen.
Thus was born Hydrogen Joint Research Platform (Hydrogen JRP) created by the Milan Polytechnic Foundation, together with the Milan Polytechnic and Edison, Eni and Snam. Hydrogen JRP, we read in a note, aims to promote innovative studies and research on: production of clean hydrogen (which includes green and “low carbon” hydrogen), solutions for its transport and related systems advanced storage, innovative electrochemical and thermal uses in residential, industrial and transport applications, development of best practices for the design and construction of hydrogen transport and storage infrastructures. The intent is to boost the creation of a hydrogen supply chain in Italy, to foster the competitiveness of companies and the growth of high-tech companies; Hydrogen JRP is open to all companies that want to experiment, with the support of the first Italian technical university and its laboratories, in the research and development of hydrogen products and services.
