The Educational Center of the Verkhovna Rada launched an All-Ukrainian online flash mob “Children of Ukraine for Peace”, whose main message is a call to close the sky. Today we will talk about a new initiative.
Ukrainian teenagers created an NFT collection of war-themed drawings to raise funds for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Unfortunately, Ukrainian children already know what war is – not from songs and films, but from their own experience. They live for weeks in a bomb shelter, hiding from shelling, distinguishing the sounds of cruise missiles and fighters. Officially, more than 120 children died at the hands of Russian terrorists during the month of the war. The Teens save Ukraine collection consists of works by teenagers who see war every day and rethink it in their art, say the organizers of the project.

The project was created on the international platform of crypto art Opensea, where people from all over the world can purchase children’s works. All proceeds will go to the fund “Turn around live”.
The story of my first drawing about the war began with the fact that I dreamed about the image of a girl. She seemed to be spinning around the room, and blood was flowing from her hands,” said 15-year-old Maria Vorobei from Boryspil. – In the picture she is wounded, but she is defending her country: a flower grows from a wound on her neck. This is hope. When I sent the drawing to my mother, who works in Okhmatdet, she said that I drew reality. They only brought a girl with a bullet wound to her neck. While I was painting, I thought about how much I want to travel around Ukraine after the victory and how much I fear for the life of all my loved ones.
