Died Violetta Kolesnikova – the creator of “Winnie the Pooh” and “The Bremen Town Musicians”

The death of Violetta Kolesnikova was reported at the school-studio “SHAR”, where the animator worked as a teacher since 2004. The cause of the tragedy is still unknown.

Dear Violetta Pavlovna Kolesnikova, a teacher at the SHAR studio school, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, a legendary animator and one of the most experienced, beloved and irreplaceable teachers of several generations of animators in Russia, has passed away.

Farewell to Violetta Kolesnikova will take place on Monday, March 28.

Brief biography of Violetta Kolesnikova

Kolesnikova – animator, animator, Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Since 1959 she worked at Soyuzmultfilm. Violetta worked as an animator, and as a teacher at the courses at the studio.

As an animator, Kolesnikova participated in the creation of more than 90 films. Among the popular ones: “Winnie the Pooh”, “The Bremen Town Musicians”, “Return of the Prodigal Parrot”, “The Secret of the Third Planet”, “Beware of Monkeys!”, “The Shepherdess and the Chimney Sweep”, “Barankin, Be a Man” and others.

During her career, the animator has collaborated with many famous directors. In particular, with Boris Dezhkin, Roman Kachanov, Fedor Khitruk, Eduard Nazarov, Andrey Khrzhanovsky.
