During the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, Zlata Ognevich, like many Ukrainian stars, performs at charity concerts in support of Ukraine all over the world. In particular, the artist organized a tour of the United States, where a very unpleasant surprise awaited her in a taxi.
On Instagram, Ognevich admitted that since childhood she dreamed of getting to the United States. Living in the Crimean city of Sudak, where she moved with her parents at the age of five, Zlata was mentally in America.
In the children’s room, I listened to adult American music, from jazz, blues and ending with modern music. When I first saw the musicals of Bob Fosse, I was completely blown away. And then a crazy opinion appeared: I should work in a theater somewhere on Broadway! This is where real life is, – wrote the singer.
However, then an important event occurred in the life of Zlata Ognevich. According to the star, she met the team and stayed in Ukraine.
But I still got to America during the Canadian-American tour, and after that I had the opportunity to get to know this country better many times. A good country, great opportunities, a scale in everything and a picturesque nature known to the whole world,” the artist shared.
Zlata admits that she herself was surprised that she no longer dreams and does not want to live in the USA.
Ognevich also explained that she has traveled a lot around the world – more than 34 countries. But it was these travels that led her to the realization that she lives in a cool country.
We have a really cool country, culture, people and that special Ukrainian vibe! The Carpathians are a place of power, a unique energy. Many revelations happened to me there. In Odessa, by the way, a lot of revelations also happened (who remembers “Bachelor’21”), – said the celebrity.
Ognevich added that in recent years she has noticed the development and awakening of the nation in Ukraine, and this made her very happy.
