With the outbreak of war in Ukraine, the singer took up his art-defense. And now MONATIK, who recently recorded a poem close to all Ukrainians, has released his difficult mini-album.
Everyone has their own history of war, but very similar, difficult and terrible, but with faith in the future. With faith in our victory. Almost 5 months of anxiety, suffering, fear and anger, attempts to find yourself, the whole family in broken dreams, turned into almost 19 minutes of musical reflections, the singer introduced his brainchild on Instagram.
The mini-album “Art-defense” includes nine musical compositions written by Monatic during the war in Ukraine.
A special place in the album was taken by the track, which the singer recorded together with his sons. The composition was called “So it will be …”. In it, 7-year-old Plato and 5-year-old Daniel read a short poem.
Earlier, Dmitry Monatik admitted that there are things that he hides from his young sons during the war. Also, together with actress Elena Kravets, the performer recorded a poem in Pavel Shilko’s poetic project “Storm Storms”.
