There were other live cartridges: new details of the tragedy with Baldwin

New Mexico state officials say they found a bullet allegedly fired from a pistol Alec Baldwin was holding on the set of Rust. This was reported on the CBS News website.

Six days after Baldwin accidentally shot cameraman Galina Hutchins during filming, the Santa Fe County Sheriff held a briefing where he said that from the shoulder of the injured director seized a fragment of a lead shell.

He also said that the investigators collected about 600 pieces of evidence, including the one that Baldwin shot, as well as the fact that there were additional live ammunition… Any items found will be sent to the FBI for further analysis.

District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altvis said it was too it is too early to press charges against Alec Baldwin… First, they need to be fully justified – this is now being done by law enforcement agencies. She also said that it was not possible to establish exactly which cartridge was in the weapon at the time of the shot.
