Room parties for children and teenagers, from Diabolik to Sing 2

(ANSA) – ROME, DECEMBER 12 – The long wave of film releases for the Holidays begins at the end of November that aim to fill cinemas with children and teenagers, to bring back to the ritual of the hall, perhaps in the family, a band of audience increasingly linked to platforms. This year, highly anticipated titles have already debuted such as the new Disney animated adventure, Encanto, directed by Byron Howard, Jared Bush and Charise Castro Smith, a journey to a fabulous Colombia, led by the magical Madrigal family; Jason Reitman’s Ghostbusters: Legacy featuring a new teen generation of Ghostbusters, and Clifford – The Big Red Dog, a mix of live action and CGI by Walt Becker, which brings Norman Bridwell’s beloved children’s book series to the big screen.

However, there is no shortage of news in the coming weeks.

From the new challenge for Spider-Man / Tom Holland, Spider-Man – No Way Home (December 15) to the return to the stage of the singing animals signed Illumination in Sing 2 – Always stronger (December 23), passing through Diabolik by the Manetti Bros (December 16) with Luca Marinelli, Valerio Mastandrea and Miriam Leone. From January 1st comes the foray into ancient Egypt of Me against you The Film – Lost in Time and Matrix Resurrections by Lana Wachowski, re-immersion of Neo (Keanu Reeves) in dangerous dystopian worlds.

Among others, it turns on the family comedy with Who framed Santa Claus? by Alessandro Siani (December 16) in which Santa Claus (Christian De Sica) finds the spirit of Christmas put at risk by a funny scammer, Genny (Siani).

Those looking for the intensity of a classic musical (and more adult themes but suitable for teenagers), will find in the hall from 23 December the remake of a cult like West Side Story in a reinterpretation by Steven Spielberg. After the first chapter interpreted in 2018 by Paola Cortellesi, in La Befana vien di notte 2 – le Origini, by Paola Randi (30 December), it is Monica Bellucci who takes on the role of the witch / good fairy most loved by children, in a adventure set in the 18th century.
