(ANSA) – NEW YORK, DEC 29 – The secret to happiness? Always stay positive. It is the recipe of Betty White on the threshold of one hundred years. The American actress will in fact reach the finish line on January 17th. Interviewed by the weekly People, White said she is lucky because she is in excellent health for her age and jokingly attributes her longevity to the fact that there is nothing green in her diet.
After becoming famous around the world thanks to television roles such as that of Sue Ann Nivens in the series Mary Tyler Moore (1973-1977) and of Rose Nylund in Hearts without age (1985-1992), as well as having played roles in numerous others series and movies, the actress now leads a calmer life by playing cards and crossword puzzles. However, he says that he finds happiness by always remaining positive. “I inherited it from my mother – he explained – and that has never changed”. (HANDLE).
