(ANSA) – VENICE, 30 DEC – The appointment with the traditional New Year’s Eve concert at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice is back in attendance, open with 100% capacity for one thousand spectators and already ‘sold out’. Orchestra and Chorus will be conducted by maestro Fabio Luisi, the two leading soloists will be soprano Pretty Yende and tenor Brian Jagde. The musical program of the concert is divided into two parts: the first will be exclusively orchestral with the Symphony n. 9 ‘From the new world’ by Antonin Dovrak, and the second dedicated to melodrama, which will end with Giuseppe Verdi’s’ Va ‘Pensiero’.
This second part will be broadcast live on Rai1, starting from 12.20 on January 1st, accompanied by moments of dance interpreted by the dancers of Aterballetto, directed by Diego Tortelli. (HANDLE).
