More than 8.5 million Ukrainians celebrated the New Year with the channel *. The most popular program of the day was the President’s New Year greetings, and the best entertainment show “Novorichna Mask”.

On New Year’s Eve (slot 20: 00-02: 00), the indicators of the Ukraina channel were the highest among all Ukrainian TV channels for three broad audiences. For an audience of 18+ (cities 50 thousand +), the viewing share reached – 17.13%, the rating – 7.27%. For the audience 18+ (all of Ukraine), the share is 15.26%, the rating is 6.28%. For audience 4+ (all of Ukraine), the share is 15.07%, the rating is 5.80%.

The most popular program on December 31 for audiences 18+ (cities 50 thousand +) and 18+ (all of Ukraine) was the President’s New Year’s greetings, aired on the channel “Ukraine”. For audience 18+ (cities 50 thousand +), the share reached – 19.91%, rating – 9.28%; by audience 18+ (all of Ukraine), share – 17.74%, rating – 7.63%.

Before the new year, the channel “Ukraine” created a large-scale festive show “Novorichna Mask”, which united all the top artists of the country on New Year’s Eve and presented viewers with more than 30 exciting mysterious numbers. “Novorichna Maska” became the best entertainment project on December 31 for three broad audiences 18+ (cities 50 thousand +), 18+ (all of Ukraine) and 4+ (all of Ukraine). For audience 18+ (cities 50 thousand +), the share – 17.53%, rating – 7.74%, for audience 18+ (all of Ukraine), – share – 15.82%, rating – 7.06%, for audience 4+ (all of Ukraine) – share – 15.59%, rating – 6.5%.

Also on New Year’s Eve, just after midnight, the Ukraina channel showed the traditional concert “Musical Platform”, which included songs chosen by the audience in voting for the Best Song of the Year. It was viewed by 4.9 million Ukrainians.
