Biden approval drops for fourth straight week, equals record low, says Reuters/Ipsos poll

The approval of the US President, Joe Bidenfell for the fourth week in a row to 36%, matching the lowest level reached in late May, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released on Wednesday.

The president’s approval rating has been below 50% since August, a warning sign that the Democratic Party could lose control of at least one of the Houses of Congress. Congress in the November 8 legislative elections.

For 34% of Americans, the economy is the most important issue in United States.

But among Republicans, Biden’s approval rating has dropped to 7%, compared with 11% on June 15. Only 18% of Americans think the country is heading in the right direction.

Biden’s approval rating is approaching but not quite there – the lows of his predecessor, Donald Trump, who had a 33% approval rating in December 2017.
