With new partnerships, Shopee starts offering supermarket products this week with offers and discount coupons aimed at this product category.
Among the big brands that now sell through the platform are Sugar Loaf 🇧🇷PCAR3), Dia Supermercado and Oba Hortifruti.
Each day of the week, a different category will be highlighted: laundry items on Mondays; grocery on wednesdays and happy hour products on fridays.
Other Official Shopee stores that are part of the section are: Ambev 🇧🇷ABEV3🇧🇷 Heineken🇧🇷 Nestlé🇧🇷 Cocoa Show🇧🇷 Unilever🇧🇷
Shopee’s Marketplace section will allow consumers to combine different coupons (from marketplace and in-store discounts as well as free shipping) to broaden the economy Shopping.
The initiative takes place when the competition has sought more rational profitability models in the e-commerceraising the fee charged from tenants and being more careful in granting coupons.
Shopee has sought to nationalize its sellers and gain logistical capillarity in the country.
After having reduced its operation in other Latin American countries, the company seems even more focused on the Brazilian operation, which is always cited as a risk for Brazilian e-commerce retailers.
