Prio (Prio3): Production falls in April with stop at the Frade Field

A prio (Prio3) had a drop in oil production in April compared to the previous month, pulled by a scheduled stop at the Frade Field. The company’s total production was 91,100 barrels per day, below 104,700 registered in March, the company said on Tuesday (6).

Frade was the main negative impact, with production of only 13.5 thousand barrels per day, compared to 37,200 in March. Already the fields Albacora Leste (27,200), Peregrino (29,300) and Octopus + TBMT (11,100) followed relatively stable.

In sales, a prio has traded 3.1 million barrels of oil in the month. Peregrino was the highlight, with 1.4 million barrels sold, followed by friar (1.2 million) and octopus + tbmt (407 thousand). The company did not report data from Albacora Leste for sales in April.

The company also reported today that it registered net income of $ 352.9 million in the first quarter of 2025, 62% growth compared to the same period of 2024. The advance occurred even with the fall in the adjusted EBITDA margin, which went from 79% to 66%.

Net revenue totaled US $ 696.9 million, up 15% in the annual comparison. Adjusted EBITDA retreated 4%to US $ 459.3 million.
