THE Nubank (Purple34) informed on Friday (4) that hired the former director of regulation of the Central bank Otávio Ribeiro Damaso as a consultant for regulatory and risk management of the institution, a few days after forming the entry of ROBERTO CAMPOS NETOformer BC president, as his deputy chairman.

According to the statement, Damaso will act as a permanent observer of the Audit and Risk Committee of Nu Holdings and the Risk Committee of Nu Brasil, as well as advise the group “in any issue related to business or risk environments.”

Nubank announced in May that it would invite Campos Neto to take over the positions of Vice Chairman, global chief of public policy and to become an independent member of the board of directors.
Its entry was made official on July 1, after the six-month quarantine required for former BC directors to perform professional activities in the private initiative.
