The majority leader in the Senate of U.S, Chuck Schumer, said on Monday that the House will move forward with the vote on the US president’s $1.75 trillion domestic investment project, Joe Biden, early next year, despite opposition from top Democratic senator Joe Manchin.
“The Senate will, in fact, review the Build Back Better Act earlier this year so that every member of that body has the opportunity to show their opposition on the Senate floor, not just on television,” he wrote in a letter to colleagues.
“We’re going to vote on the revised version of the Build Back Better Act passed the House – and we’ll keep voting until something is done.”
