Positivo rose by more than 4% after being chosen to provide ballot boxes in the 2022 elections

the papers of Positive (POSI3) started a high movement this Monday (27), right after the company was confirmed as the winner of the bidding process of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) for the production and supply of electronic voting machines in the 2022 elections.

The technology company’s share rose 4.34% around 12:40 pm, traded at R$ 10.10. THE Ibovespa recorded gains of 0.49%, at 105,409.91 points.

The tender includes the supply of up to 176,000 new ballot boxes, in addition to other products and services provided for in the notice. The total value of the operation was R$ 1.179 billion.

After the publication of the result of the event by the TSE in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU), Positivo will be called to sign the Price Registration Act, valid for 12 months.

The supplies of equipment will occur from the formalization of contracts, in lots that may be required by the TSE.

In October, the TSE informed that Positivo was “the only company qualified to participate in the bidding”.
