(ANSA) – ASTI, 10 FEB – The finance police has dismantled an organization active in Piedmont, Lombardy, Lazio and Sardinia which, with a false identity, obtained financing as a “Covid guarantee fund” and bank loans. A scam worth more than 20 million euros. Ten people were arrested, eight in prison and two under house arrest, on the orders of the Gip of the Asti Court, from where the ‘Warranty’ operation, as it was renamed, started. Seized current accounts, luxury boats, real estate and companies.
In particular, the financiers of the Piedmontese Command, in collaboration with the military of the Olbia Group, have seized three boats belonging to one of the suspects: these are two inflatable boats and a 15-meter yacht, with three 450kw outboard engines, of the value of over 300 thousand euros.
The boats seized on the orders of the investigating judge of the Asti Court are moored at the port of Olbia and were used by the suspect during his holidays in Sardinia.
